Weasel Scarf
So I’ve been experimenting with adding more physical process into my digital. All part of trying to learn to color things. Wait… what’s that weasel doing there? I guess I’ll leave him be for now.

Working on a new comic – final will be split into two ‘zines. This is part one of zine one! My gosh you guys are going to love it.

Walking down the street last week I saw a grunge-punk anarchist staring into the distance. I realized I could probably switch her sign for something absurd and she’d never know. She’d probably get more money! You know, for drugs and dog food.
Roughly a year ago I bought a brush, some ink, and decided that I’d spend the next year learning how to not suck at inking.
One thing I’ve learned since then is that there are no savants in illustration. Any good illustrator spent years grinding away, learning their craft. They seem like savants because they don’t complain. I tried not to complain, and can now proudly say I don’t suck at inking.
As for coloring? Ehhhh. Well, no better time to start than the present!
Oh also I need to get better at drawing people. And backgrounds. And multi-character compositions. And… lots of things.

Post MoCCA Selloutaganza
So, MoCCA fest was fantastic. It felt great to finally get some of my work out there – and to meet so many amazing illustrators.
I didn’t sell enough work to break even on the table price though… but on the bright side I don’t have to worry about selling out!
With that in mind I’m proud to announce my store is up! Everything ordered will come with a note lovingly scribbled in the back – at least until I’m too inundated with orders to keep up with demand (will never happen).
Oh, also, the above image is from “HOW TO BE HAPPY.” You can buy it in poster form at my store.
